Care & Repair Service
The Care and Repair Programme helps older people (over 65 years) to live safely and independently in their own homes by assisting with minor household maintenance jobs and gardening.
What is Care & Repair?
The Care & Repair Service delivers essential maintenance, minor repairs and garden clearance to people over 65 years of age who need some assistance with everyday tasks which will greatly improve their quality of life. The team also carries out work for eligible Waterford City Council tenants.
No electrical, roofing or plumbing work is undertaken by the team.
The Care and Repair Service is operated through the TÚS Work Placement programme with an experienced team that are fully garda vetted.
