What is Social Enterprise?
A social enterprise is a business that is set up to achieve a social benefit rather than a profit for its owners or shareholders. This is sometimes called a ‘Profit for Purpose Business’. All profits made are invested back into the business and its social objective.

The Social Foundry is a programme for people to learn more about setting up a social enterprise and is co-delivered with Waterford Local Enterprise Office and The Entrepreneurs Academy.
